There is always some pros and cons of everything so as the formwork and shuttering have. The main usage of both of them is providing enough strength to the concrete only the wet one which is placed on vertical surfaces just till the time when it gains particular amount of strength. It is necessary that these two have as much strong that they can easily bear the load of concrete mix as when the concrete is mixes with water which results it becomes high weighted. It is mandatory that these applications should be water tight if in case water leakage from concrete has been allowed through shuttering it will leads the concrete to weak and damage it which results it have very low life which affects the whole infrastructure. Usage of shuttering is quite easy on the side and it can be very firmly removed from the concrete if mould release agents are applied properly on it.   

Few steps of precautions basically for RCC beams, slabs and vertical supports:
  • Wooden pillar which are used for the support should be not more than 6'' Dia and all of them should have same size and it is necessary that all are free from joints.
  • Never make required height by applying brick in the base of wood, usage of brick is allow up to three not more than that.
  • Cross bracing should do which gives better support to slabs and to beams as well.
  • The batten of wood which is supposed to be used below plate the size of it should be 5'' of height not more than that.
Precautions for beams & slabs and Beams:
  • The shuttering should be used of steel instead of bricks or plywood
  • It is necessary to keep close eye that the formwork is water tight or not.
  • Make sure that the shuttering is removed only after 28 days
  • It is necessary to watch occasionally that the concrete gain particular strength by time.
Recommended removal period of shuttering:
  • If slab is indoor than 7 days should be minimum.
  • For walls, beams, foundations and columns 48 hours are minimum.
  • If the arches are above 4.5 meter and falls between 6 meter spams 14 days should be minimum.
  • If the aches of beams are in between 6 to 9 meter it will take 21 days to remove shuttering.
  • Beams above 9 meter take at least 28 days for removing formwork.
These are the few basics which should always be taken in mind while using shuttering or any kind of formwork. Always make sure that you prefer to use steel shuttering instead of any other kind which will give you water tight ability which ensure the poured mixtures moisture inside it which will help it to retain good quality of strength.

Any kind of formwork or shuttering is basically or mainly needed when liquid or thick liquid is supposed to be poured on surface specially where there is no base at all. Here these shuttering and formwork act as an base which later on removed once the liquid sets up and gain required strength. So in modern or any kind of construction formwork is necessary in almost all the stages.   

Both the terms either formwork or various types of shuttering oils basically used for the plywood, timber, aluminum,wooden, metal or any other kind of material which is used for providing basic support to the mixture of wet concrete till the time when it dries up or grasp the desired strength. These applications provide support to inclined, horizontal and vertical kind of surfaces and also for providing support for the casting concrete as per the required size or shape. It is also used for giving desired finish to concrete as well. While using shuttering or formwork it is necessary to use mould release oil which will help to remove them easily later.

Usually three types are shuttering which were commonly used they are:
  • Steel shuttering
  • Wooden Planks
  • Temporary Masonry Shuttering for bricks
Steel shuttering:

This type is best because of some reason as the shuttering is of steel it is water tight and can bear the load of concrete easily which is places on the shuttering. It can either be used on vertical or horizontal surfaces or on any other type of surface depend on the work requirements. It gives surface a very fine shine and finishing as well. This shuttering can be easily used as per the drawing of architecture. If further plaster is required it requires low thickness and as the shuttering is water tight the strength which concrete gains is comparatively high as well. 

Wooden plank shuttering:

These type of shuttering is used due to a basic reason as it costs low it becomes very cheap for contactors and it is easily available in market as well. But these kind of shuttering give adverse affect to concrete some of the main disadvantages are mentioned below:
  • These shuttering are not water tight because the size and its thickness differ and they are usually not of same size. Due to which water flows from the cement though joints which results weaken structure.
  • The slab due to this reason does not build in line, and stay weak forever and causes damage soon.
  • Due to leakage it makes the work messy.
Temporary Masonry Shuttering for bricks:

In some scenarios few contractors prefer the usage of brick masonry for beams side and in fascia etc. It is avoided to use because it reduces the strength of concrete as it soaked the water. This types of shuttering is not preferred for usage.

Its usage is not only limited to the construction of infrastructure but it is used for making any kind of wall or dams or for flooring etc in almost all the fields and places. As bricks are used from decades in different ways, people used to make them according to their needs and convenience. Mostly little kind of bricks is commonly used in the field of construction such as: clay bricks, cement bricks & fly ash bricks. How to make clay bricks: Well as the name defines it needs clay to make such kind of bricks. All what required is clay and water just mix clay with water and place it in moulds and keep it in sunlight for 5-6 days when it becomes hard remove it from moulds and keep it inside the special room where it is burning from all the sides after few time your brick is ready to use. These bricks become very strong and durable due to the heating therapy which has been performed in the end. In villages where cement bricks are not available easily, peoples their use these kinds of bricks for making small bridges, houses and for flooring also. These bricks are very strong and give long services as well. If one is comparing these bricks with cement bricks it has been proved that these bricks are far much better than cement bricks in two ways:
  1. Bricks made by clay is eco friendly and it manufacturing process required no chemical of machinery but only water and clay and in any single mean it does not affect the atmosphere so it is very eco-friendly. Due to this property experts suggested big builders to use such kind of bricks in modern construction as well but due to unavailability of clay in urban areas somehow it is an impossible task yet now.
  2. Clay bricks have cooling tendency due to which outside temperature does not affect inside temperature of building in any way.
In urban areas contractors but so many technologies and efforts to maintain the inside temperature but in rural areas due to the use of clay bricks it becomes so easy to maintain the inside temperature to less and cool. Due to these two properties clay bricks are more better than cement bricks but in terms of durability and strength both kind of bricks cement made and clay made are almost same or in few situations cement bricks have more strength and durability as compared to clay bricks. If clay bricks are heat up in proper heat after drying in sunlight than the strength and durability of clay bricks and cement bricks are almost same. But due to unavailability of materials and some other conditions in both the places other options are not working like in urban areas it is next to impossible task to use clay bricks even after knowing its benefits and properties due to lack of materials same as in rural areas it is just impossible to use cement bricks because of no sources of manufacturing such kind of bricks. So according to material availability and manufacturing comfort different kinds of bricks are using in different areas of construction in various places.

It's another type of brick which is very easy to make need no heating process and gives long life to your infrastructure and strengthens the buildings and gives durability as well. The strength of cement bricks are of 7-10 MPa which is commonly used in below mentioned applications:
  • In residential building

  • For making dams
  • In footpath
  • For different kind of flooring
Above mentioned are just few examples where cement bricks are commonly used. Usage of cement bricks does not cling to these one's only it leads to manufacturing of canals, bridges, malls, big bungalows and in almost all kind of construction.

And because the wall is made up of cement bricks it have more strength as compared to walls which are made up of normal kind of bricks also because of these bricks the life of building increases.
   
How to make cement bricks: It is a simple task to make cement bricks all what requires is high quality cement and water if you are making pure cement brick and if you are working on less budget you can mix good quality of cement in it also, but remember put only a particular amount of sand in cement otherwise the manufactured bricks will lose their strength and it also results breakage. According to your need and requirement mix cement and water or cement water and sand and form a fine paste avoid the formation of lump now place this fine paste in moulds before putting in it moulds don't forget to grease it with mould release oil which is commonly known as shuttering oil. After this place the mould in which you pour paste in sunlight for 3-4 days then remove it from mould and it is ready to use for different kind of modern construction process.     

Advantages of using cement bricks

Using bricks which are completely made up of cement for building your house or any other infrastructure is a unique way to go. Due to its high strengthen property the building last very long.

You can make cement bricks according to your need; you can also change its size such as width, breath, height etc. General phenomena of cement bricks: weight: 2.3 kgs appox. & size is 220mm x 100mm x 70mm, its approx. quantity / pallet: 500 and strength is 7-10 MPa. As all know that cement never stops curing so because of this it increase its strength constantly.

Mold Release Oils Differ For Every Industry

Release oil or releasing agent is basically a chemical which protects the surface from bonding to other impure materials which can affect the product quality. This oil is commonly used for mold release, plastic release or tire and other product release.

Why release agents are important:
While manufacturing any kind of product like tires, plastic or cement pipes, wires etc. you have to apply a fine quality of release agent (oil) on the inner surface of mold so that the mixture you put in mold can release easily after completion of product.
